Sima and Sean : Simi Valley & Channel Islands Harbor Engagement Session

What a terrific couple, Sima and Sean are. They have been dating for quite some time and have decided to tie the knot next year. When Sima first contacted me about her and Sean’s engagement session, she said she had a canvas that she wanted to incorporate as a backdrop. She told me that it was pretty large and it might be easier to explain if I saw it in person. So I took a trip out to Simi Valley to see this canvas she was referring to. I had no idea what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the giant mural of her and Sean! A friend painted this for them, what a sweet gift, and what awesome talent! I told Sima, we definitely had to incorporate the mural into a few of their engagement images. It is something that is personal and unique to her and Sean as a couple, so why wouldn’t we include it?

After suffering through the heat for the mural images at the beginning of the session, we packed it up and headed to Santa Susana Railroad Depot for a few casual images at the train station. We ended the evening at Channel Islands Harbor and a nearby beach for some romantic shots. I love the variety of this session. Sean and Sima were a very easy going couple and made the day a lot of fun. Thanks again and congrats you two!
